What operating system and requirements do I need to use the Control Center? The Control Center uses the latest Microsoft .NET environment. The requirements for the Control Center to operate effectively are as follows: Windows XP, 1Ghz processor, RAM 512MB minimum.

A. Can I have AIQ Data Retrieval in a desktop with the timed update enabled? Yes you can, however you'll need to keep the control center open. You will be able to work on other desktops while the timed update is in the background

A. How can I tell which desktop an AIQ application belongs to? Each AIQ application in a desktop includes the name of the desktop in the title bar adjacent to the application name, e.g. instead of the title reading AIQ Charts it will read 'AIQ Charts - my daily watch list'

A. Will my alerts when they fire from other desktops be visible on the desktop I'm working on? No this feature is being investigate for a future release, in the interim we suggest you have the alerts set to a pager, cell phone or e-mail, when the alert fires you'll receive the warning.

A. How do I save the desktops I've created when I exit the Control Center? when you exit the Control Center, either by clicking the 'x' in the top right or through, Applications, Exit, the desktops and their accompanying applications are automatically saved.

A. Are there any tutorials on using the Control Center?
In the Control Center, click on Help, Tutorials. There are three tutorial movies in Macromedia Flash format available. These are streamed from the AIQ web server.

A. Can I or should I still use the old AIQ Main Menu? The existing AIQ Main Menu is still available if you do not wish to use the Control Center. If you do use the Control Center, you'll notice that there is no access to the AIQ Main Menu from the AIQ applications within the Control Center.
