I have the $59 basic plan, how can I change to RealTime?


Launch the myTrack software and click on the 'Chat' button. Select Entitlements, Plans. In the pop up box that appears, select from silver, gold, or platinum realtime plans. For info on the plans click on Functions, View Topics, Plans.

Edit the exchanges as follows:
1. Click Entitlements.
2. Click Exchanges.
3. Select the Exchanges you wish to have realtime.
4. Click OK.

Restart myTrack for the changes to become effective.

By changing your account to real-time access, you the user agree to pay Track Data Corp. the applicable fees in accordance to the pricing plans and exchange regulations.

How do I use Chat?


The chat window is divided into two sections. The blue area on top is the PUBLIC section and the white area below is the PRIVATE section. The bottom row of the chat window has two areas. The little box on the left is the "command box" and the larger area to the right of that is the "input box".

When you first bring up the chat window the word "say" appears in the command box. Say is the command to send a message to the public chat area. Type a message in the input box, hit enter and your message will appear in the public chat area.

If you click the arrow in the command box a menu will drop down with a blank line, the word "say", and the word "tell". Tell is the command to send a message to the private chat area. Since private chat is private you will need to select someone to send a message to. With the word tell in the command box type the username of your message recipient in the input box followed by a message. This message will appear only in the private chat box of the recipient.

If you select the blank line from the command box menu and type the word "help" in the input box a menu of commands will appear in the private chat area or you can /help when "say" is in the command box. To find out more about any of these commands type /help in the input box.

How do I find futures and index symbols?

From myTrack, click on Help, Help, Help Topics, type in Futures and then print out the list of futures symbols. For Index symbols, type Index, and print the list.

How do I cancel the myTrack data service?

Send an email to support@trackdata.com. Tell them you wish to cancel the TradingExpert/Dial Data service, please include your full name, address and username. If you have not received an acknowledgement within 24 hours, then please call 800-myTrack.

Viewing your myTrack bill.

To see your monthly bill detail, from chat, click Administrative, then 'View Bill'. Select 'sample' to see next month's bill, or select any past or current month.

Annual Trading Expert Pro plan.

An annual prepay plan is available for Trading Expert Pro, it is $590/year, paid up front, non-refundable. This replaces the monthly $59 fee, e.g., you save 2 months ($118) if paid up front for a year. To enable this you must choose the Annual feature and also the $59 feature. You will not be charged for both.

How do I know if I am behind a firewall and if I am where do I get information for IP Address and Port Address?

Most large companies will have firewalls, most individuals will not. If you are in a large company you will want to check with your System Administrator to verify you are behind a firewall, and if you are, the Administrator will be able to provide you with the IP and Port Addresses.
