| 0 | With the Typical, Compact and Custom install, AIQ will attempt to locate a prior version of TradingExpert, StockExpert or MarketExpert on your computer. If a prior version is located, the AIQ conversion screen will appear. This will allow you to select the files to be converted. TradingExpert for Windows v4.0 and above, TradingExpert Pro If your existing program is TradingExpert for Windows (v4.0 or higher) or TradingExpert Pro, the installation looks for the AIQ32.ini file in the Windows directory to determine the location of the prior version. The install will place the upgrade into the same folder as you prior version, preserving your data and custom settings. TradingExpert for Windows v3.27 and below, MarketExpert for Windows If your existing program is TradingExpert for Windows (v3.27 and lower), or MarketExpert for Windows (any version), the installation looks for the AIQ.INI file in the Windows directory to determine the location of your prior version. TradingExpert for DOS, StockExpert for DOS v4.0, MarketExpert for DOS v4.0 If your existing program is DOS TradingExpert v2.0 and higher, DOS StockExpert v4.0 and higher and DOS MarketExpert v4.0 and higher, the installation looks throughout your computer for any directories containing files with an extension .IDX (AIQ parameter files from DOS versions). StockExpert for DOS v3.52 and lower, MarketExpert for DOS v3.52 and lower, IndexExpert, OptionExpert Data from these versions cannot be converted to TradingExpert Pro, select Typical install. |
